Intertwine is a narrative exploring connections, inspired by contrasting expressive marks and structure to represent the interlinking narrative between architecture and nature, culture and people. By exploring the relationship between the visual and tactile qualities of fabric construction, I seek to ensure longevity within my designs.
This page explores two collections both for the soft furnishing interiors market, presenting image of my work from my final major project of my degree. I have focused on creating tactility in cloth, evoking the fundamental feeling of comfort. The interaction of double-faced fabrics facilitates a relationship that evolves over time. The comfort of objects I have found to be important in creating emotional bonds, equally crafting my samples to visually enhance our lives through feel, colour and pattern.
