The brief was to consider shaving choices and how they promote gender inequality and harm the environment. Intoto is a brand designed to fight against the gender inequality and lack of sustainability present in the cosmetic and hygiene industry. Intoto strive to battle against current issues and challenge detrimental world views, by developing with the individual at heart and the idea that each individual has a different opinion, body and impact on the world. Growing up in an environmentally deteriorating world with changing societal values and ideals has fallen to Millennials. Therefore, Intoto aims to change one small piece of everyday life through shaving, in the hope of challenging existing ideologies and creating awareness of issues that otherwise might be overlooked.
