IRN-BRU is Scotland’s favourite drink. In fact it out sells Coke. This ad is based on ‘IF’ by Rudyard Kipling. It celebrates what makes a Scot a Scot and why they deserve a can of the fizzy stuff. This ad not only captured those moments of Scottishness, it sparked a debate online and created plenty of press coverage to boot. Also sweet talked Aiden Moffat to do the VO.
