J K London

Following the exceptional success of the Jai Kudo Eyewear brand, the brand owner decided to create a diffusion line aimed at a younger target market, called J K LONDON.
I began working on the  J K London line in 2007, conceiving and developing a launch collection featuring vibrant colours, inventive detailing and cutting-edge design. Heavily influenced by London street style and high fashion, the J K London look was confident, urban, directional, fresh and fun. The brand tuned-in to the urban side of London life, drawing inspiration from the celebrated London fashion scene and cool street style. J K London was fresh, young and vibrant with sporty details, flashes of brilliant colour and a playful touch.
J K London was launched in 2008 at the Optrafair trade show in Birmingham UK, and - like its parent brand Jai Kudo - it was an instant success. So much so, that the producers of "Britain's Next Top Model" Invited me to feature on season 4 of the top-rated show to set their contestants a challenge: a close-up photoshoot of each contestant wearing the J K London collection; the winner being the model who embodied the J K London aesthetic most convincingly.
To the present day, the J K London brand has enjoyed continued success throughout the UK, and in more than 30 countries around the world alongside its parent Jai Kudo brand. Leading a hand-picked design & development team of 3, I produced a total of 16 J K London Eyewear collections over 9 years.
