Jay Electronica - Exhibit C (Unofficial Music Video)

The description below is from my end of year evaluation of the project. This was my outcome for my end of year Photography exhibition. The photos below are the still images taken from the footage hence the quality. I hope you enjoy the video. It was my first ever creative video. - My original intentions were to travel around London to capture building, cars, roads, bridges, sky and many other filler videos to create one strong and meaningful visual video. I think I have achieved my initial idea and plan completely. I was successful as I recorded many short clips and I have plenty to work with for the actual video. The videos are good quality whether it is day or night. The quality stays throughout. I didn’t really come across any major issues, the weather maybe was the only thing that was an issue, but I recorded some videos in the car while it was raining and I think it gave a nice effect to the video. It set the mood to be dull and meaningful. I am overly pleased with the issues as there weren’t that many but even the rain, it made my video look better. My Contextual Reference was Kendrick Lamar and his video ‘Alright’. I was looking at the techniques and visual languages to create my video. His video was the closest I had to my idea being shown besides myself. Overall this video was a huge success as I have received so many positive feedback in how the video looks professional without even seeing the final product. I think everyone just liked the idea as its own.
