An artist, a mother, a dove keeper. Jean Cooke RA was an eccentric artist with an eye for capturing the “delight in the things seen.” Through the eyes of an art collector and a close friend, this short documentary tells the story of Royal Academy artist Jean Cooke, from her turbulent marriage with celebrity artist John Bratby to the tragic demolition of her coastal studio, and how she forged her own identity through her paintings.
