This project presents a new concept in the way we understand the objects that surround death. Specifically, those that aim to keep the ashes of the deceased. Ka-Ba is not only an object, it is a system that allows the partition of the ashes for those who have lost someone, while keeping a material reference of the deceased. Using a square as the shape of each piece, the ashes are mixed with ceramic and then pressed to create a tile. The result is a set of resistant tiles that keeps a little piece of memory in each of them. The design bears in mind that the death of someone is always surrounded with feelings and respect, the object is tender and give the ashes a respectful and peaceful treatment during all the process. http://cargocollective.com/mariaricart/KA-BA
