Karisimbi Wines Branding

Karisimbi Wines processes and produces wines from homegrown fruits and vegetables. The wines are produced invariants – beetroot, pineapple. The wines are made at the border between Rwanda and the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). We designed the full branding, naming and art direction for Karisimbi as well as providing options for the client to select. For the design direction, we celebrate a local name as the brand is rooted in local, self made process of beetroot into wine. Karisimbi is the name of a famous volcano and stands as a signifier for a Rwandan name celebrating the authenticity of local wine made and produced in Rubavu, Rwanda.
