We are all double-decker entities. Changelings trying to blend in. Foreigners trying to fit into the unfamiliar environment. I am looking through you. You are my double.

The way we try to learn a new language is both visual and physical. We are trying it on, fingering its boundaries, messing up grammar structures while leaving our previous selves behind and metamorphing into something yet unknown.
Japanese coming to the UK to experience unprecedented freedom and vulgarity of British life. British obsessed with fragile homogeneity of Japanese culture. We are all double-deckered entities. Changelings trying to blend in. Foreigners trying to fit into the unfamiliar environment.I am looking through you. You are my double. You are my other self that I want to possess like a valuable collectible, and you are my very opposite that makes me feel awkward and desperate.
"I want to captivate genderless and ethereal. What I found captivating was depicting a story absolutely surreal in its final form since both models are the same person. From the traditional Japanese fairy tales where the common pattern is a sometimes cruel and non-consummated love, hidden behind a ritual to the dance of pastern future coexisting paradoxingly, I decided to create an epic allegory of romance and madness".
