Kingfisher Shopping Centre: Environmental graphics scheme
Kingfisher, a 1 Million square foot shopping centre in Redditch underwent a brand refreshment and repositioning to appeal to a more affluent, sophisticated fashion-aware target market. As part of that they wanted to implement an environmental graphics scheme to reflect the shift in positioning and complement the physical refresh of the shopping centre interior.
Simon Inc created a series of high level environmental graphic applications in two different but complementary styles which reflected the aesthetic of the refreshed interior scheme and also reinforced the new focus on style fashion.
Positive feedback to the initial scheme was overwhelming and within 6 months it was extended to twice the number of locations within the shopping centre, incorporating a typographic treatment which also reflects the fashionable tenant mix and sits comfortably alongside the previous phase of work.
