for radical luxury x selfridges. with an underline concept to enivision what the future of luxury is and inspired by her heritage, kinza is a window into Lashay's imagination of how she depicts Jamaica from a redefined perspective. with light inspiration from photos of her relatives dressing in pinafores and stripes, Lashay reworked traditional elements from Jamaica such as the homely colours and the imitated beach backdrop, to modernise the respresentation of the island yet aimed to oppose against pre-existing stereotypes.
