Knomo Trailblazers

  • Franco Boydell
During Autumn 2016, I ran an interivew series on behalf of the brand - telling the stories of our users and interesting entrepreneurs.
Knomo products are designed for people who love their work and never stay in one place for very long. By placing our brand within the story of a diverse set of micro-influencers, we were able to showcase our most authentic, intelligent side.
The linking theme betweeen each interview was using technology to create an easier, more democratic solution to everday problems. We would always show the interviewee engaging with their Knomo product, as well as offering their tips on keeping organised (one of our brand USPs).
Each interview was organised a week in advance, I then prepared interview questions, shot and edited each piece. The result was a 10 week series that was promoted on our digital channels and through the interviewee's own circles.
Each video interview was accomponied by a written blog post and still images of the micro-influencer engaging with their product.
Perhaps my favourite session was with Babar Afzal, who had left corporate IT to become a Pashmina goat shepherd in the Himalayas. While I recieved incredible wisdom and insights from the entrepreneurs I spent time with, Babar had an incredible calmness and unique understanding of the role of business and humans in the world.
Most of the series took place in London coworking spaces where we formed partnerships and established member perks, to encourage coworking space members to buy into the Knomo brand.
During this series we doubled the traffic to our blog and saw a significant increase in our social engagement.

You can see my 'Inside the Coworking Revolution' video below, too, (that I scripted, presented, directed and edited).
Having recognised the growing coworking trend we organised our AW16 photoshoot to take place within a coworking space in Camden, through this video I hoped to lay out the coworking propostion and movement to our customers.
