With the successful completion of my bachelors degree in Accounting & Finance, I have free time to focus on my extracurricular passions, both fashion & music.
On the fashion front I assisted Samuel Ross & Ace Harper with their first London Fashion Week show in collaboration with Nike Lab. Beyond assisting with the setting up of the interior space, using fast thinking and initiative to fix any problems that arose and ad hoc duties - I was also privileged to walk the runway as the first Model, as well shot for A-Cold-Wall's editorial. I have also assisted Jai Eleven, founder of the [nothing] brand in all aspects, from modelling, to bookkeeping to marketing strategies. I have also had the privilege to model for Pause Magazine on 2 separate occasions. Lastly I have assisted Ari Chanoux, a former stylist.
In Paris Fashion Week 2017, I assisted Samuel Ross & Ace Harper in the A-Cold-Wall Showroom, which meant being a fitting model, having an understanding of the products being shown, maintaining the cleanliness and aesthetic of the showroom, being on call to collect or purchase any items needed for the maintaining of the showroom, and lastly representing the brand at shows, presentation and in fashion publications.
Musically, I have spearheaded a general (Mellow Grime) alongside the artist/producer Rayf, Vidal Holness & photographer Hendrix Nash. With this I have been able to amass over 4000 followers on Soundcloud, 1 million plays on Soundcloud, Dozens of radio spins on BBC Radio 1 Xtra, as well as the support of many key figures in the british music scene, such as NoiseyMusic, Complex, GRM Daily, XL Records 'Caroline SM', Maya Jama & Kane Chattey.
This shows where the love for these industries come from and also how I've begun to execute and apply the enthusiasm. I am looking to find myself in a creative environment, even if I'm within a finance role - although I personally do not consider myself academically tied to just this sector.
