During my Interior Design degree at Chelsea College of Art, me and two others embarked on a project to reappropriate an existing piece of furniture. Although a ladder is not classed as a piece of furniture, we wanted to see if it could be. The ladder was stipped back to its original components and rebuilt with an extra structure attached. The bottom half was weighted to create balance and a sheet of durable perxpex was shaped and formed between the upper points. The result is as follows....
