The project aims to encourage civic activism and volunteering among school pupils of 12 to 16 years of age by learning about the results of the scouts’ active engagement and to encourage them to be active in their own environment in anyway they are able. Using these young people as a conduit we also reach their families as a secondary target audience.
This was achieved by producing 4 educational films about the scout movement and its activities and distributing these on digital platforms (social media) and in DVD packages to 5 schools in Tripoli, accompanied by presentations with the scouts on specific subjects
