A university project live brief set by Amnesty International for their stop torture campaign. The brief called for us to gain both petitions and awareness of the issue.

The public were invited to tear away a perforation of the poster and sign the petition on the back. In doing so they removed the tortured face and revealed the unharmed face.

This concept was then translated onto smaller posters and a
digital format, where a live feed showed the tortured face images gradually changing to the unharmed face as more people clicked to sign the petition.
