Liquid Lab

Post-General Assembly study and upon completion of their Visual Design Course, I am using this quarantine period to practice my Digital Design and illustrations. LiquidLab: The brief stated to build a home screen for a cold press juice bar called LiquidLab. The primary target market were women between the ages of 30 - 45 years old, earning 120k a year and wanted to have a cold press juice that would slot into their active lifestyle. The secondary market were men and women aged 30 - 60 who had a broader idea and even broader needs from a cold press juice bar. They're after convenience more so than functionality and design. I carried out interviews that gave me my keywords, which then formed my mind maps and mood boards. I then figured out my colour palette via coolers.com from my most successful mood board. After this, I put together my design system which included my logo design, initial template design for my app, button and CTA design, finalised colour palette and chosen typography. Finally I put together my UX/UI chain which pointed out needs and signifiers. These steps set me up to pull this final design together. I decided to build out further screens and stretch the design out in order to see how a working app could look.
