I start the series, 'Little Fish' because I wanted to use the autumnal September/October light to capture the hustle and bustle of London. That idea developed into a project and I set myself a task!
I gave the project two rules:
1) To take candid shots of people in London without being seen by the subject before the photo is taken.
2) The photos had to taken over four consecutive weekends in London.
I titled the piece 'Little Fish' after the saying 'A little fish in a big pond'. The aim was to create a series that observes our interactions with each other, technology and our surroundings. The photos are candid and somewhat voyeuristic, showing simply people in London.
