I was given the opportunity to create some animated visuals for the club night FUSE; hosted by VAJ.Power. The animations were to be sleek/simple yet high in contrast as I was going to be mixing and changing their form live on the night.
I had never tried VJ-ing before.. it was a learn on the job role which made the experience even more exciting and worthwhile. The software used in VDMX, it allows you to have multiple animation files and effects which run simultaneously. I connected a MIDI board to manage my effects (so I knew what each effect would do).
The visuals are created using Processing, After Effects, Cinema4D and Unity. I have a few gigs here and there mostly in Glasgow, check my Instagram for my most recent creations and up and coming shows!
