This short animation was made with the boys at Action Duchenne to inform younger boys who have been diagnosed with the condition what to expect and how to look after themselves. Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy is a severe muscle wasting disease. Action Duchenne campaigns towards a cure, funds research and provides support for the Duchenne community. Over three sessions, I worked with 14-19 year old boys to create a short animation that explains the disease to younger boys and informs them on how to best look after themselves. The film, Living with Duchenne premiered at The Action Duchenne Conference 2013 and is due to be used at Great Ormond Street Hospital.
