Long Distance Dining

This is a speculative, critical project which asks you to question the integrity of intimacy via technology.

I am very interested in our relationship with each other via technology. Screens are increasingly distracting us from our surroundings whilst connecting us with each other and many people are able to maintain long distance relationships with softwares such as Skype.

This type of communication is yet to venture into the restaurant environment and Skype dinner dates are usually restricted to the home. My concept liberates long distance couples, by providing a new service which allows them to share the intimate restaurant dining experience when they are apart.
