Speculation over the future of urban farming environment
Although many years has passed since the idea of urban farming has been created, we are still unsuccessful in implementing the simple idea of incorporating the act of growing plants in our daily urban lives. How can technology help us solve this problem and create a strong engagement between plants and humans?
In this project, we created a set of sensor modules that measures basic environment status of the target plants, and a mother robot that moves the plants to a better suited environment within the room or building. We hope that through the engagement with the robot, user will be able to understand the existance of plants as similar to that of other humans and live “with” it.
