We’re looking forward, to a better time, As the world it seems, has lost its mind, Everything, is just out of sorts, And we can’t trust, any reports, Lies and doubts, politicians spew, Perpetuating, fear on you, Not a day goes by, tempers fray, This really is, a battle today, Confusion reigns, the world’s upside down, With masks you only, see a frown, Our liberties, are quickly eroding, Was 1984, the great foreboding? These politicians, need to be reminded, They work for us, or get reprimanded, There’s so many lines, drawn in the sand, You wonder if ever, we’ll make demands? To take back what, is rightfully ours, The time is now, we’re down to hours, No one is coming, to save the day, It’s up to us, and what we now say, Enough of this, forced tyranny, If we come together, we’re the majority! — Alan Firmin
