Athletic Union Media Coordinator 2017/18 | Athletic Union Media & Marketing Officer 2018/19 Volunteered 750+ hours in these roles alongside my studies - shows my dedication and passion for marketing!! Advertised various sport and social events throughout the year on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. Gained 824 followers on Instagram, 902 likes on Facebook

Brief: Advertise a new event 'LipSync Battle' involving AU clubs to lip-sync to raise money for the mental health charity 'Mind'.

Solution: Engage with the audience through Instagram by allowing them to choose which song each club lip-syncs - raises awareness of the event, gained more followers, and gained more ticket sales.
Brief: Find a way to advertise all 58 Athletic Union clubs every week.

Solution: Rather than sharing every event and spamming social media, I thought to introduce 'Sport Highlights this week' every Monday which is then repeated on Wednesday as a reminder (as most matches are on Wednesdays). Also including 'Sporting Saturday Results' so the audience is aware of the scores, and 'Club of the Week' every Sunday to highlight a particular clubs achievement that week.

Solution: Videos gain more engagement than posters. Use videos to build up hype
