Louisa Pang's graduate collection have been selected to be part of the BA Catwalk Show of 20 collections styled by LCF’s Creative Director. Her work overlaps with the field of art in its creative process, and the field of design through its functionality. It has investigates the conceptual art works of the imagination and creativity. To redefine the functionality of the garment, a form of collage is used in the process of designing to method to re-frame and re-create the existing elements, reject pre-given context, and emphasise playfulness by the deconstruction and reconstruction from a diverse range garments. By transforming the artwork into the silhouette, shape, details and textiles of the collection, it aims to bring disorder to the logic and communication of clothing, and to challenge the aesthetic and function of fashion. It has an approach to create a contemporary yet timeless collection, by pushing the boundaries of conventional menswear to retain the balance between eccentric and wearable.
