'Lovetime Guarantee' Illustration

This project was commissioned by the record label 'Lovetime Guarantee' for their radio set on 'Voices Radio'. The brief was open for me to be creative and come up with my own idea whilst adhering to the concept to go as a cover for their Japanese music playlist. I decided to use an image that is easily recognisable as Japanese so I researched traditional Japanese art and found lots of old ink drawings of people in traditional gowns covered in patterns. I used this idea and made the pattern on the gown the logo of 'Lovetime Guarantee' to give a bespoke feel to the cover.
