Living near the coast in south Devon, I cam't stop myself from heading down to my nearest stretch of coast when the wind and tides are right for some stormy sea conditions! It makes me feel so alive and in awe in awe of nature and the strength that she can command when she wants to. We may feel strong as humans but against mother nature when she's flexing her muscles we are so insignificant...sometimes if it's not raining too hard I'll take my pro camera, but if it's pelting down (and yes, I've been known to gently steam in a cafe afterwards) then I'll make do with my smart phone camera.
