Loving Deprivation

Loving Deprivation is an exploration into how the human body is used to reveal psychological states of mind. The series examines how the individual outwardly displays the emotional effects brought upon their psyche by their romantic obsession with somebody else. I photographed each figure without clothing, drawing focus to the individual’s body language and facial expression without the mask of attire. Vast landscapes allude to feelings of isolation and vulnerability, as we see the the lone person overwhelmed by their surroundings.
