We believe in the power of design to build successful brands. Get it right from the start, and you're on your way. We branded this pop-up Asian food restaurant with an eye on the future, creating an identity that's a strong foundation on which they can build their future business.
For the logo, we found the Chinese symbol for 'good luck', redrew it for modern applications, then placed it carefully inside the number eight. For the logotype we picked a typeface with the energy and jauntiness of oriental typography, but with a modern feel including touches of wit and character. We then added a distinctive colour palette and a simple graphic feel, before rolling out the brand across lots of different elements, including everything from menus and press ads to chopsticks.
By creating an identity that tips the nod to the Orient yet still expresses a decidedly hip modern sensibility, we've created a brand that straddles both worlds, and is all set for rolling out to a larger audience.
