Lyft- Pride On

Marylou was approached by Lyft to do a series of illustrations that celebrated the Gay Pride. The idea behind the artwork was to visualise the Pride’s history. The illustrations feature key events like the Stonewall riots and memorable characters such as Harvey Milk and Martha P.Johnson. By remembering how the Pride came to be, Lyft wanted to remind their audience the value of the movement and why it’s important to support it. The illustrations were made as a pattern that was used on a range of different products such as car wraps for their taxis, balloons, banners, posters, prints and t-shirts which were all displayed during the festival.
