As part of my Masters final project I created a collection of graphic work that played with elements of design to create meaning.
I wanted the cover to include most of the pieces and text to appear to randomly fall through the gaps, to create a playful tone and a sense of movement. Each element is also placed at an angle to also reinforce this sense of flow.
The Artist book explored the use of graphic elements to create illusion - i.e. of movement, depth, texture - and their interaction with images to create meaning.
Each design was accompanied by an explanation of what elements were being used and explored and to what effect.
