Making America Grateful Again - The Ringer

Commissioned by The Ringer. A review for the upcoming Grateful Dead 4 hour long documentary "Long Strange Trip "

Saiman Chow is a NY based Director/Designer. Born and raised in Hong Kong, Saiman spent his early years fascinated with ghosts and reading manga obsessively. At the age of 15 he moved to Los Angeles where he went on to study illustration and design at Art Center College of Design. Saiman’s work is grounded in visual style, storytelling, and creative problem solving. His approach is smart, playful and humorous in tone.
He is best known for his stop motion projects and his sharp design skills. Saiman’s work has been featured in numerous publications such as Print “30 under 30”, Res 10, Tokion, New York Times, ID Magazine, Beautiful Decay, and Art Asia Pacific among others. He is inspired by his Asian heritage, art history, humor, food and the constant buzz that NYC offers.
