Malevich

  • Jon-Ross Le Haye
Bringing together paintings, sculptures, theatre and an unprecedented collection of drawings this exhibition offers a complete view of Malevich's career, celebrating some of the most progressive art ever made.

Visitors are greeted by a Russian Empire map (c.1900) and an accordion style timeline that helps emphasise important events in the artist's life alongside Russian history from the 20th century.

The entrance uses one of his Suprematism artworks as inspiration, its flat painted feel contrasting with the raised gloss finish of the artists name.
