MAMA LEY'S HOME COOKED
The problem Many people in Lambeth and Southwark live in 'food deserts' - where they have plenty of food but none of it healthy. The challenge In this project I was tasked by Shift Design to brand a local stealthy-healthy food producer and supplier aimed at a diverse inner-city audience. The proposal Mama Ley’s is a local food takeaway service based in Lambeth and Southwark that promise to deliver healthy food for families on a lower level budget with severely limited access to affordable, nutritious food.
Mama Ley’s casserole pot logo symbolises fun, food, and unity. Brown and Orange are both down-to-heart colours with Brown symbolises Mama Ley’s keen sense of duty and responsibility, and Orange symbolising Mama Ley’s keen sense of caring and bringing joy & happiness among people.
The “Mama’s Food Truck” is designed to attract new customers with its striking and easily recognisable graphics. The food truck, along with the Mama Ley’s team can be used to attend food festival and other various community events around london such as School Summer Fair to share the taste of Mama Ley’s and build brand awareness.
For Mama Ley’s, Social media is a great way to increase its brand awareness, and to connect with customers and potential customers. Mama Ley’s believe in building a better, happier, and healthier community.
