Marshall’s latest campaign offers a fresh spin on the traditional city guide. Directed by Kevin Castanheira, the ‘Guided by Music’ series explores the cities of Paris, Copenhagen, Berlin , London, Beijing and LA. The first episode follows native Parisian Louise Follain as she wanders the Canal Saint-Martin, stopping to browse kitsch album art at Born Bad Record Shop. Another episode stars Copenhagen-born Freja Wewer, who visits her favourite spots in the multi-cultural Nørrebro district, including the classic Copenhagen bar, Cafe Viking and live venue Spillestedet Stengade. We composed an original track to reflect the sounds of each city – a French psych-rock piece matches the dynamic editing of the Paris film, while a ’90s inspired garage-rock track evokes the bohemian culture of Copenhagen.
