The smell of cheap cologne floods the car, as loud Bollywood music blasts from the speakers. Three students in the back look on, slightly disturbed as the bizarre driver sings along to the lyrics of his favourite song. One student has fixated on the shaggy tiger-striped seats. She’s been playing with the material for at least ten minutes. The driver with slick black hair, wearing a bright flower-patterned shirt begins to sing even louder. Charlotte desperately tries to fall asleep, as her friend leans into her. “Next time I’ll book the Uber” she mumbles.
