Measuring Elvis book

I independently ran this project from concept through to production.

The brief
To create a book documenting the past 10 years of work of the artist Nina Mae Fowler, known for her large-scale enigmatic pencil and graphite drawings and accompanying sculptural works. Her subject matter often centres around icons of cinema and popular culture, presenting a dark and contradictory side to their otherwise idealised lives. The book is to expose the intensive research methods used by the artist as well as presenting an overview of Fowler’s artistic practices, which include her trademark cutout drawings and a section on her ambitious installations.

Specification
200pp hard-back artist book, cloth bound with special edition slipcase, and the accompanying publicity of the book launch and visuals for the gallery.
