The aesthetics of the period are reflected in the limited, muted colour palette and the simple, linear layout. Illustrative qualities have been introduced through the layered marks to bring a contemporary aesthetic quality to the periodical. The sole use of a sans serif typeface additionally contributes to the modern, simple aesthetic.
