“MOO Business Cards, through the Youth Creative Network, requested young individuals to visually celebrate MOO’s belief that ‘Design Works Wonders’. ‘The Bookmark’ is a short film in response to this belief, focusing on the initial spark of a relationship between two individuals, initiated by a business card. The short film centres on two characters, Jennifer, a late 20s arts graduate student, and Stuart, a timid, introverted banker who has understated affinity for poetry. Both Jennifer and Stuart frequent the same library in London. Over time, Stuart writes a collection of small poems in the margins of his book, rousing Jennifer’s suspicion. Indeed, on one fateful day, he mistakenly leaves his MOO business card nearby the novel he had annotated with poetic prose. Jennifer discovers this card and the wonder of love begins.”
