Moonfruit

Moonfruit was one of the first platforms that allowed small businesses to build their own websites. A fantastically forward-thinking company, with the inspirational Wendy Tan White at the helm.I ran the design studio and managed the creative and content production process. From social media right through to pop up shops. Although I was only with them for a matter of months, I was given freedom to get involved with many different projects and achieved a lot to be proud of. The main highlight being the design and fit of a pop up shop in Box Park Shoreditch (very new an innovative at the time) and supporting the design and production of online campaigns which fed into the main television campaign which showed a selection of really amazing small business owners doing their thing. From bespoke bicycle makers to hair stylists, it really captured the essence of what Moonfruit was all about. Targeting hipster makers and trend setters, the clients were as inspiring as the leadership. Unfortunately the company was bought by a large organisation and swallowed up, allowing companies like Wix and SquareSpace to really own that space.
