A streetwear label that combines ancient Greek mythology with clean minimal forms, bold typographic constructions and muted photographic depictions.

Moons Of Apollo is a Sydney-based street-wear label founded by Kevin Tran and John Encomienda. Inspired by Apollo, the Greek god of light, the label draws on stories and characters from Greek mythology, bringing a history of reference and depth to its designs and season concepts. Moons Of Apollo embraces bold, simple designs, relaxed tailored fits and exudes an understated yet distinct style. Moons Of Apollo's first streetwear release is 'Floating Islands', a collection of custom fit graphic t-shirts.

‘Floating Islands’ pays homage to the birthplace of Apollo- a reference synonymous with the founding of the label. As the Greek myth details, mother Leto was banned from giving birth to Apollo on terra firma. After an arduous journey, Leto eventually stumbles upon an invisible floating rock in the sea called Delos and it was here where she was able to deliver her first-born son, Apollo. The t-shirt designs of 'Floating Islands' references abstracted stories of Apollean mythology and visually interprets them into clean minimal forms, bold typographic constructions and muted photographic depictions.
