Joe is an MA Composition student, specialising in composition, electroacoustic music, jazz guitar and a recent BMus (Hons) graduate from City University London. This involved three years tuition in jazz guitar at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. Joe has performed guitar proffesionally in many styles and situations, ensembles, solo performances and pit bands for musical theatre. Joe is an experienced electroacoustic/acousmatic composer and has composed works in various formats and for a number of different installations and occasions and for the international feature film, 'Fault'. He has lengthy experience working in recording studios, both as an artist (Surrey University) and a studio technician (City University) as well as experience working with Chris Branch and Tom Haines at Brains and Hunch Studios. Joe’s Gypsy Jazz ensemble, ‘Nouveau Gadjo’, have performed on BBC radio, and many prestigious venues across the country.
