Nafas.

  • Austera Premakara

Nafas a kinetic light sculpture that mimics the action breathing composed of illuminated ‘Lungs’. The sculpture represents a group of living characters that inhale and exhale together. They are reacting in response to the immediate air quality conveying motion and light of calm and struggling breath that awakens our empathic understanding. The sculpture encourages visitors to become consciously aware of their own breathing and consider the invisible environmental factors that affect our unconscious health and wellbeing. Exhibited at University College London Here East - March 2019
