NATURAL GROWTH: Lichen in Paper

  • Phaedra Dickson

'NATURAL GROWTH: Lichen in Paper' is a collection of developmental wearable body adornment designs that explore the organic form of, and structures within, lichen. Primary research conducted in The Royal Forest of Dean informed the laser cut patterns, which were built up to create statement, dramatic and naturally evolving pieces. The collection investigates the use of paper and alternative, found objects and materials such as cable ties and nails.
