Identity design and marketing concept for a non-profit-organisation to preserve biodiversity – final project (B.A.)

BRIEF

The non-profit-organisation "Netzwerk blühende Landschaft" (NBL) aims at supporting biodiversity as well as regional ecosystems and especially biological diversity by spreading natural blooming landscapes. It is therefore essential to have the maximum quantity of supporters, followers, and a broad awareness in people‘s minds. For my project, I created a new visual identity and developed an approach on how to realise their aims.

INSIGHT

While generating a marketing strategy I found out that compared to most other non-profit-organisations NBL offers direct opportunities for action alongside donations and petitions. I identified different target audiences which need to be approached by showing them their respective benefits (pollination, money and time savings, a clean ecological conscience, image improvement, beauty, ...).

IDEA

To generate and mobilise the maximum amount of supporters, an appealing, coherent, and eye-catching identity was developed. The concept builds on transparency to generate recognition, respect, and trust. The new design establishes NBL as an interesting, modern, and precious brand as their intentions are essential for our own basis of existence. The colourfulness represents richness, diversity, and enjoyment. The corporate claim – “Life is full of colour” – is easy to convey by visually out-lining the contradiction between monotony, boredom and diversity, prosperity.
