Naturally Fashioned
Inspired by the fast fashion movement, I wanted to create a small collection that introduced grown matter to my samples that would allow for growth and change as the samples grew with the seasons allowing for new textures and colour ways to be present. This would allow for a single garment to have many incarnations as it developed.
Exploration of Shibori technique that allowed for new textures to be formed.
Exploration of shape and form using pleats.
Final outcome for Naturally fashioned. The above piece was a knitted sample using Merino wool with cress being grown within the sample.
