Navigate your way - The Guardian

  • Martin Nachev

How do we reach young people in a compelling and interesting way to inspire them to read the Guardian? We had to produce a minute-long motion sequence in which we engage with the target audience of 18-26 years olds with a casual interest in news. After looking into what topics we want to target, we finally decided that the Guardian newspaper is known for its independent journalism and we wanted to emphasize on that. Our idea is to use a metaphor for the Guardian being the place of truth. The ship symbolizes how the reader can escape the storm of fake or deceiving headlines by following the Guardian.
