Never Fade London - Fashion UEL pop up event

In May 2021, I collaborated with Never Fade London and a team of other creatives to create a pop up shop event in central London. The concept of the event was to showcase the creative skills of University of East London Fashion students. The collaboration involved developing my skills in negotiation, communication and project management, as the organising of this event took place during the Covid lockdown. In addition to organising the event, I was also in the social media team, planning and curating content for the @fashionuel Instagram account. This included creating photoshoots, reels, interviews and filters. This new account generated a considerable following in the three month project period including industry mentions such as one from the Fashion Minority Alliance. The Pop Up shop event was held across a busy weekend and included both live and interactive activities, including live hand embroidery, a live photoshoot and live drawing on a blank garment shown in the window display. As a team we curated the product and activities and I was one of the stylists and the creative director of the live photoshoot. Imagery of the event can be viewed via my portfolio on The Dots.
