Just before the General Election in May 2015, I was commissioned by the New Statesman to conduct a long-form interview with Paul Birch, then leader of the new CISTA party. I was given less than 24 hours to prepare for the interview and even less time to send it over to the subs, but I was happy with the result: long-form interviews are a favourite journalistic medium of mine and I look forward to producing and/or subbing more in the future.
