New Visual Artists, 15 Under 30
Every year Print Magazine has featured an annual issue called the New Visual Artists Review, which introduces and profiles 15 of the most promising rising talents in graphic design, advertising, illustration, digital media, photography, and animation — all under the age of 30.
The annual list has amounted to a veritable Who’s Who list in the business of design, and include the likes of Eddie Opara (1998, first class, now a Pentagram partner), Alan Dye (2003, now creative director of Apple), Scott Dadich (2005, now editor-in-chief of Wired), Jessica Hische (2009), Frank Chimero (2010), Jessica Walsh (2011, Sagmeister & Walsh) and Caleb Bennett (2012, of Wired and The New York Times Magazine).

As one of the 2015 New Visual Artists, I was asked to create an image that visualised the issue. My concept was based around the idea of ‘unveiling’ — where objects are hidden beneath a white sheet, just revealing an abstract outline of what lies beneath.
